Blakelands Treatment Centre
Blakelands Treatment Centre, located in Blakelands, just
outside Milton Keynes, is a purpose-built day case unit. The centre
has been designed to provide outpatient facilities for the
assessment and treatment of patients. The treatment centre has two
operating theatres for day case surgical procedures.

General Surgery
Inguinal, umbilical or femoral hernia repairs,
anal procedures, haemorrhoids banding and injection. Lumps and
bumps and minor skin procedures
Orthopaedics
Arthroscopic Knee Surgery: Meniscal Tears,
Knee Pain
Hand Surgery: Trigger Finger, Carpel Tunnel,
Ganglion, Tennis Elbow, Bursa Disorders
Upper and lower limb outpatient appointment (hip, knee and shoulder
replacement): Surgery for overnight stays carried out at Horton
Treatment Centre in Banbury
Foot Surgery: Bunionectomy, Correction of
Hallux Valgus, Hammer Toes and other forefoot deformities
Ophthalmology
Cataract extraction and insertion of lens
Gastro-enterology
Upper or lower endoscopy
Treatment centre facilities
In line with all our purpose built centres, all car spaces are
close to the entrance providing same level access. If a wheelchair
is required within the centre we are more than happy to provide
one. The treatment centre has an x-ray department,outpatient
consultation rooms, pre assessment facilities, two operating
theatres and a four bedded recovery bay. Blood tests results are
available on site.

you the peace of mind of knowing everything you need is covered.
Should you need to stay in hospital longer than initially thought
and quoted for we cover the cost and this will include treatments
and tests should complications occur.
The offer of Fixed Cost Care is subject to consultation and a
written offer from the hospital.

Blakelands has Joint Advisory Group (JAG) accreditation for
endoscopy services. This means an independent audit has certified
the quality of training, quality of the service, quality of the
facility and the quality of individuals. In addition patients give
us continuous feedback to monitor and improve the service.
